A building moulding the charm of the Square of Heroes (Námestie Hrdinov). On the site of Jozefček´s house originally a low bulding stood there, where the Golden Crown pharmacy was situated after the year 1823 (nowadays it is situated in the opposite building). Just before its demolition there was a tavern there. Building permit, which Karol Jozefček´s widow applied for, was issued in the year 1929. The Jozefček family was presented as a squirearchy – renters in the letter of application. Architect Rudolf Czibulka was an author of the project.
The house was inhabited by approximately 70 people, amongst them even the family of Magda Paveleková, maiden name Lörincová.
