New statue of General M.R. Štefánik was unveiled on 4 May 2007 in the municipal park in Levice that bears the name of a very important Slovak statesman.
The bronze statue, which is a dominant of the park, is 2,4 meters tall.
The statue comes from the studio of Marek Mikloš. Thereby the statue of M.R. Štefánik came back to Levice after 65 years.
